Big Thanks to Seniors Kenny Brush, Ashley Lewis, Michael Ayala, Brandy Jones and Ky LaMarca for pitching in to help with the PTA Concession stand for the Community Event held on Tues. Oct. 18th.

Big Thumbs up to Crestwood Senior James Graves for proudly representing the Senior class and the Crestwood Baseball Team when he spoke at Oct. 20, 2016 school board meeting.

Enjoy an evening of Musical Theatre when Crestwood High School presents "Mary Poppins: The Musical"!!

Date and Time: Dec 9th & 10th 2016 7:00 PM -- 9:00 PM

Location: Crestwood High School Auditorium

The musical, Mary Poppins, directed by Mrs. Mary Leo will be performed in the high school auditorium at 7:00 PM.

Doors open at 6:15 PM.

Tickets are Adults - $6.00
Seniors and Students - $4.00

Bring the whole family for a great evening of music and entertainment.


Attention CHS PTSA Members:


I just wanted to share with you a few dates and events at CHS as we head into the Holiday Season!!

·       Fri., Dec. 9th & Sat. Dec. 10th – Crestwood High School's production of Mary Poppins: The Musical.  The show begins at 7pm both nights.

·       Mon. Dec. 12th – Crestwood HS Boys Basketball team "Toys for Tots Scrimmage Game". JV games begin at 6pm. Varsity 7:15pm. Asking attendees to bring a new unwrapped toy. The US Marines will be in attendance to collect all the donated toys for the needy children in our area. Please donate a toy and make their Holidays a bit happier.  

·       Sun. Dec. 18th Holiday Wrap Party hosted by the Class of 2017 Senior Lock-In. The Class of 2017 will be hosting this Community event and providing FREE Holiday gift wrapping to anyone who brings in their unwrapped presents.  The event will be held at the Crestwood High School Cafeteria. Free to the public, Event is 3pm-7pm. Donations will gladly be accepted but not required.

·       Wed. Dec. 21st – The Crestwood Junior Class of 2018 will be hosting a Holiday Blood Drive at the CHS. Parental consent forms have been passed out to eligible students (16 and older.)  These forms need to be returned by the close of school on December 14th, 2016.  16-year-olds would need this form and an additional form available in the office.  

       Basic donor guidelines:

o   You must bring a photo ID (drivers license, Crestwood photo ID)

o   At least 16 by 12/21/16

o   At least 110 pounds

 

·       Thurs. Dec. 22nd- ½ Day of school for students and staff. 12 Noon Dismissal for CHS students

·       Fri. Dec. 23rd- Mon. Jan. 2ndWinter Break. NO School.

·       Tues. Jan. 3rd- School back in session.

Update

As part of the PTSA Senior Lock-in, the Class of 2017 will be hosting an Ugly Sweater Holiday Wrap Party on  Sun. December 18th 3pm-7pm at the CHS Cafeteria.


 It will be open to the public and free of charge. We will be providing FREE Holiday gift wrapping to anyone who brings in their unwrapped presents.  And our senior elves will be sporting their Ugliest Holiday Sweaters!! Come and vote for your favorite!! The winner will receive a Gift Card. Donations,of course, would gladly be accepted but not required ;)

We are always asking our Mountaintop Community to contribute to the lock-in and other clubs. We are excited to be able to give back and promote community giving from the CHS Class of 2017.
Please consider attending the event! And pass the event along to others! We are hoping for a day of Holiday cheer and community.

Dear Crestwood Parents, 

Are you or someone you love scouring the Wyoming Valley and beyond for a hatchimal?? Search no further...WE HAVE ONE!!!

The Crestwood Senior Lock-in is selling chances to win a Purple Hatchimal!!! Take a chance and win the hottest toy of the 2016 Holiday Season!! $2 per chance or 3/$5. The drawing will be held on Thurs. Dec. 22nd.

Raffle tickets will be sold at the Home JV and Varsity Crestwood Basketball game starting at 6pm on Mon. Dec. 12th and again at the Holiday Wrap Party being held at the CHS Cafeteria on Sun. Dec. 18th 3pm-7pm.

at the Kirby Center for Creative Arts (KCCA) at Wyoming Seminary, 260 North Sprague Avenue in Kingston on

Saturday, April 8 at 8:00 p.m.
and
Sunday, April 9 at 2:00 p.m.

Chamber Music Festival:

The Music of Gabriel Fauré

The music of French composer Gabriel Fauré will be celebrated in a special chamber music festival to be held at the Kirby Center for Creative Arts at 260 North Sprague Avenue in Kingston on Saturday, April 8 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 9 at 2:00 p.m.

 

This event is free and open to the public!

  

This festival is supported by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and The Pocono Arts Council, and is part of the 2016-2017 Wyoming Seminary Performing Arts Series.
