Update:

Big Thanks to Seniors Ian Beach, Ky LaMarca, Erik Thomas and Quinn Roberts for sharing their very positive experience and feedback of visiting the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) School in Hazleton at the January 10th ,2017 school board meeting.  These 4 students were chosen to visit the STEM school.  They also gave a presentation about their engineering project of transforming a gas-powered vehicle into a jet-propelled vehicle using alternative bio fuel as the source of power.  Senior Ian Beach came up with this idea and these 4 students are currently working hard during this important research and development cycle of this project.  A budget of $700 for this project is needed and donations can be mailed to Crestwood High SChool and checks can be made payable to the Engineering Club.

Big Thanks to Seniors Kenny Brush, Ashley Lewis, Michael Ayala, Brandy Jones and Ky LaMarca for pitching in to help with the PTA Concession stand for the Community Event held on Tues. Oct. 18th,2016

Big Thumbs up to Crestwood Senior James Graves for proudly representing the Senior class and the Crestwood Baseball Team when he spoke at Oct. 20, 2016 school board meeting.

Hello everyone,

Recently there has been confusion regarding the graduation date/lock-in date.  We are happy to finally commit to you that graduation AND the Lock-in is planned for Monday, June 12.

Now that we have the date secured we need to ask for your help in making this night a success.  Parent involvement is something we desperately need.

NEEDED: Gaming Chairperson  This person will be responsible for organizing pre-selected relay games to be held in the gym after the blow ups are being broken down from approximately 2:30am until 4am.  It is a pretty fun and simple job.  There is a twitter poll ongoing among the seniors now to determine which relay games they would like to have.  If you are interested in taking over this project, please reply to me.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Everyone MUST join the PTA and complete their PATCH clearances in order to work in the school and on the lock-in activities. I have attached the PTA membership form as well as the link for PATCH clearances. Please complete this ASAP. https://epatch.state.pa.us Click on the rectangle that says "New Record Check-Volunteer Only" and follow the prompts. When you get to the last screen, click on the number (in the center-the instructions show which one) to print out a certificate and then email the clearance for to Michelle-PTA President  mlamarcachspta2017@gmail.comTHIS IS A POLICY WE ARE NOT ABLE TO BE FLEXIBLE WITH

In the next week you will receive an email outlining the listing of shifts needed for the lock-in.  Please look out for it and reply according to the shift you would like to work along with the pertinenant information requested.

Our next Senior Lock-in meeting will be Wednesday, April 26.

Thank you,

Nancy Blass

Hello everyone,

Attached is a chaperone list of shifts needed for the Lock-in. I have provided a time slot and the number of chaperones needed for each.  Once I have all time slots filled I will email everyone a spreadsheet showing where you will be working for the shift you selected.  I ask that you please reply only to me (NOT reply all) with the shift of your choice as soon as possible. Please reply with your name, cell number and time slot you would like.  Please do not commit for another person.  To avoid any confusion, with scheduling I cannot accept an email from anyone other than the exact person or couple selecting their shift.  If you would like to do a double shift please indicate that as well in your reply.

Hi Everyone!!
I am looking for some wonderful volunteers to help decorate for the Class of 2017 Senior Lock-in!!
Place: Crestwood High School
Date: Monday, June 12th
Time: 12:15pm until the job is done ;) (CHS dismisses at noon that day)
Why: More hands make easier work!! AND...we want to be able to decorate and STILL be able to get home and wrangle our graduating senior and families to get to the Arena in time for Graduation!! Any help is appreciated!!
Disclaimer: All volunteers need to be a CHS PTA member or fill out a CHS PTA Membership. We also need you to have a PA patch clearance on file. These are school requirements, sorry. Yep, that's a LOT to ask...but I am asking anyway! We NEED help and all PTA Membership $$ goes to fund the Welcome Back Breakfast, the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon and other CHS groups and activities.
Please consider to volunteer. If you would like to volunteer, please contact me: Michelle LaMarca at mlamarcachspta2017@gmail.com. I will be hopeful and attach a CHS PTA membership form :)
Thanks!
