Mrs. Drazdowski, commonly known as "Mrs. Draz" to all her students is a 7th grade computer teacher in the Crestwood School District in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Draz, holding a Bachelor and Masters from Bloomsburg University, started her teaching career in high schools and business schools in Pennsylvania and has taught as far away as Alaska. While in Alaska, she taught in an alternative high school in Juneau, and was also an Assistant Professor in Office Administration at the University of Alaska, Juneau. After nine years and three daughters, she and her husband packed their bags in the pacific northwest and moved to State College, Pennsylvania where her husband earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at Penn State University. In State College, she taught in post secondary business schools for several years. The family moved from State College to Mountain Top, Pennsylvania returning to their Northeast Pennsylvania roots in the early 90's. For several years, she worked as an office administrator, taught in business schools and community colleges before accepting a position as a middle school teacher in the Crestwood School District.

Mrs Drazdowski's husband is a professor of Education at King's College, in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She has three daughters: Laura, a Columbia University graduate, has served as an assistant athletic director as well as a head softball college coach and became a Mom this past Spring; Tess, holds bachelor and masters' degrees from Loyola University Baltimore, and is currently matriculating for a Ph.D. in Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University; Elizabeth, a graduate of the University of North Carolina, majored in Communications, minored in both Spanish and Drama, and just returned from teaching as a Teach for America special education teacher on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.  She will be teaching in New York City this fall.

Mrs. Draz has been the 7th grade computer teacher since 2003 (including a 2 1/2 year position as a Instructional Coach) guiding 7th grade students to practice good keyboarding techniques and introducing them to computer applications such as word processing, presentations, Internet safety, Web 2.0 emerging technologies, and anything else she feels is appropriate for the student.
