Transportation Information

Important reminder regarding traffic flow at the
Secondary Campus in the morning

The designated drop-off area is the straight stretch between the start of the loop back to the courtyard steps. Cars coming around the back of the building are pushed forward by staff to the beginning of the loop where a second staff member stops them for drop-off.  At that time, kids exit all cars that have stopped within that designated drop-off area.  ALL cars then proceed straight along the football field and around the building towards the front.

There is ONLY ONE LANE of traffic around the entire building.
AT NO TIME is it acceptable for anyone  (parent, student, or faculty member) to attempt to pass another stopped vehicle for ANY reason.

The only time a car is permitted to enter the loop is if it is a junior who wants to park against the building.  NO CARS are permitted to use the loop as a means of proceeding to the front of the building.  This is primarily to ensure the safety of the student drivers who walk from their cars to the courtyard using the loop.

STUDENT LUNCH UPDATE

September 9, 2019

All student lunch accounts accessed via "My School Bucks" are once again operational.  Currently, parents and guardians can access their child's lunch accounts in order to assess account balances, track student usage, and/or supplant funds.  Additionally, beginning Tuesday, September 10, 2019, students should utilize their respective PINs when making purchases in our school cafeterias. The district would like to thank parents, guardians, students, and staff for their flexibility and patience throughout this process.

Performance Audit
May 2019

Pursuant to authority derived from Article VIII, Section 10 of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Fiscal Code (72 P.S. 403), the Pennsylvania Department of the Auditor General conducted a performance audit of the Crestwood School District during the 2018-19 school year. The purpose of the audit is to determine compliance with relevant state laws, regulations, contracts, and administrative procedures, and to address the efficiency and effectiveness of targeted areas as compared to what is deemed as best practices. The audit conducted examined district practices from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2017, with updates, where applicable through the end of the fieldwork undertaken. The periodic performance audit undertaken by the Auditor General does not replace the audit of the independent financial auditors as required by 24 P. S. 1-101.
